The documentary "World of Northern Lights - Iceland" was created for virtual reality and television. I wanted to use virtual reality technology to capture the northern lights in real size and real-time. In 2017, I received a grant from SSNV to develop the idea. However, recording the Northern Lights in real-time is technically difficult due to the very dark and challenging conditions. Despite facing weather and technical challenges, I started filming for virtual reality.

The documentary features a photographer, a science communicator, a physics student, a farmer, and a university rector, all of whom are connected to the northern lights in some way. The documentary showcases how the lights have affected these individuals and aims to educate viewers about the northern lights.
